Empathy Building
Every month, Mindbeacon's Ask a Therapist webinar series covers a mental health topic that lingers in our minds.
Broadly, empathy is about our ability to share in and accurately understand what’s going inside of another person, especially how they’re feeling – almost as if it were happening to us. To walk in another person’s shoes is a privilege that we can’t (literally) say we’ve ever had the honour of experiencing. But, in order to build empathy, we need to understand the inner workings of another person’s life.
