The screenings will be held:

Tues, May 1, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Agriculture Building, Room 2C71

Wed., May 9, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, University Services Building, Room A37

Tues, May 22, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, University Services Building, Room A37

Wed., June 6, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Agriculture Building, Room 2C71

Results

After the appointment, participants will immediately receive a report with the results. By understanding what these numbers mean, participants will be able to take control of their health and well-being by identifying health issues and learning about preventative and treatment options. The clinics may also help identify chronic or life-threatening health conditions where immediate follow-up is required.

The program is especially beneficial for those who don’t have a family doctor or feel they don’t have the time to get a regular check-up.

Next Steps

After the clinic, use participants can use their numbers to complete an online health risk assessment to help them on your path to a healthy life. The health risk assessment asks questions related to overall health behaviours (such as eating and drinking habits, exercise, mental and financial health) and helps identify health risk factors. The tool is available online through your Sun Life account by accessing the Wellness Centre.
